Your Shot member Andy Chisolm was taking a break from a rigorous surfing session when he captured from the flybridge of his boat this photo of a “feeding frenzy.” The rock towering above the waves—Eddystone, an ancient remnant of the mainland—is about 27 kilometers (17 miles) off the coast of Tasmania, Australia, and some seabirds have been recorded nesting there. In this photo, New Zealand fur seals join albatrosses and seagulls in the apparent feast.
Chisolms’s shot was recently featured in the Daily Dozen.
