New on 500px : Grizzly Bear, British Columbia, Canada by travelwithkat by travelwithkat

This large male Grizzly Bear sniffed the air to catch our scent as I photographed him from a small boat. He then slowly edged his way forward and looked me straight in the eye. Time to retreat I thought!

New on 500px : Hold On To Your Feathers!! by maralaker by maralaker

Not fun taking this pic of Bald Eagle. I was on eye level with him as I was walking across a bridge on trans Canada going out of Sicamous, but every time a big truck went by I got splashed with slush from road. via Tumblr http://ift.tt/1TZcbXT

New on 500px : Field British Columbia by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

I took this a little while ago…

Every time I have driven to Field this year, it has been a total strike out. As I was headed there last, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky… I passed the second exit for Banff and BOOM. Thick cloud cover. Thickest I have ever seen.

I wandered along Emerald Lake which is normally picturesque… Not so much this time haha. The saving grace of the day was the Natural Bridge. This is the Natural Bridge area. via Tumblr http://bit.ly/1N2m6rw
