I’m posting this unedited photo hot off the press. A monarch, my friends, in our neck of the woods on the 28th of October can only be described as a gift from God. My wife was in the kitchen and yelled, “Bob, there’s a monarch in the garden” (or what’s left of our garden). I ran outside in a fairly heavy rain shower and got this picture off. Not the greatest or the grandest, I suppose from a technical standpoint, but a true rush for me. If for no other reason this is why we let our flowers go as long as we can…you just never know who’s going to stop by the neighborhood.
