New on 500px : Silent, But Violent by ipsen by ipsen

The smell of sulfur in the air, steam of bubbling water and the intense colors of the Grand Prismatic Spring even boost in the sunset. The Yellowstone National Park is one of the most fascinating and exciting places, I have ever been to.

Do it yourself – Yellowstone-atmosphere at home:
1. Eat some beans (magical fruits)
2. Wait for 2-3 hours
3. Come back to this photo and watch it again

New on 500px : Twenty percent by adamwestgla by adamwestgla

Yellowstone National Park authorities have authorized the slaughter of around 1000 bison this winter, around twenty percent of the herd. Any animals wandering across the Montana state line, like these I pictured here near Mammoth Hot Springs are at risk of being rounded up for slaughter by Native American tribes. How should we manage the wild? Read more at http://goo.gl/FIOJwb

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon’s blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.

It’s Wonderland. Old Faithful and the majority of the world’s geysers are preserved here. They are the main reason the park was established in 1872 as America’s first national park. via Tumblr http://ift.tt/1Q0wwg4
